I know I missed this place for months, it's my nature :-)

Btw, a lot of things happened during this months, and some of them are happing now as well :-)

So, I'll try to devote some minutes to this space, even if the time is short :-)

It's very relaxing walking along the riverside. We don't live in a wood, but the river is just less than 1 km from here, so we can get there in few minutes. A pleasant peace fills the space left by the traffic noise :-)
Just an half an hour of walking to fill recharged... of course, the most important thing is the good company, isn't it? :-)

Have you ever realized our life is int card castles of different shape and size? You know if a single card moves, one or more will collapse... in your work, in your country, in the world... who gain money from that spend his time trying to fix card placement, while other people try to change the system, but it seems quite impossible...

I think this age could be called "the card age"...

Maybe, indeed, MAYBE we are able now to keep our house, someone said yesterday that it didn't seem the house she knew :-)

So, we are continuing to settle thnigs in order to make a solid base to build our future. Sometimes it isn't easy, sometimes it's very hard, but we carry on :-)

This saturday whe had the second inauguration party, this time with MBI people!

The party stars? Luigi son and daughter of course!

BTW: it's impossible to be old enough to stop watching "Robin Hood" (the disney one), all of us were enchanted watching it :-D

By the way, we are now ready to have the first party in our house with our friends!

They are so many that we decide to split them in several groups, and the first will be the PA one, so let we see in our house on saturday night!

House improvements carry on, this weeks my parents came from sardinia to help us: my father have to do the box room up, and my mother will prepare the curtains... step by step everything goes in its place!

btw, the misteriuos trip is approching! where me sweet is going to bring me? :-)

Except somw problems with the water pipes (of the neighbours), the house is almost finished, the bedroom funrniture are assembled, the domestic appliance are ready, we need just to assemble the living room furniture! We are really really close!!!

Despite the rain, we went to Certaldo for the NakedFest 2008.

There weren't many motorbikes, but we pass a nice morning along Certaldo Alta streets, that were full of mascked people :-), and we have a very nice wine and cheese for lunch!

homecoming, we chose a nice road, among hills and woods, what a wonderful travel! :-)

A new, maybe last, step

Yesterday we decided to pay a man to renovate floors, hoping it's the last work before start to live in our house... In the meantime, the ground floor is almost ready, those works will end on monday morning. So, tuesday and wednesday will be painting days

First climb test

On Saturday we had the first climb test, on the high part of Calci. We rose for 2 km. I know it isn't too much, but the road is very hard! Next time we'll try to improve! Sant'Angelo we are coming!

We are closer to change our house, at last! Se next week will be fired, as we must clean, and paint, and moved everything from the old house to the new... But we really are burning to do this!!! :-)

This sunday we go, by cycle, from Marciana to Marina di Pisa, rest for an hour on the rocks, and then come back. All trip was about 60km. For the last 10km, we stayed at a speed of 30km/h! :-)

We eventually sign the act!!! Now we are the owners of the house!!! And, crossing our fingers, in a couple of weeks we'll move!!!

Thanks to the weather, we started the cycling season :-)
After the excursion to Asciano last week, this sunday we conquer Lari! A 40 km outgoing with two short but difficoult climb :-)
We spent half an hour in Lari, a nice small medieval town and then we came back home.

After a 10 days waiting, finally I found the surprise my sweet "zavorrina" prepared for me :-)
We went by motorcycle, with Andrea and Francesca, to Porretta to listen to Francesco Guccini!!! The concert was wonderful, and the place too! He played his famous song, like "la Locomotiva" and "Il Vecchio e il Bambino" as well as less famous ones, cracking jokes among them... and, of course, drinking a lot of wine glasses! :-)
It was very nice, as I need to recover from the bad facts succeded last week... During the concert my thought flew to Alex, as when "Guccio" played "Canzone per un'Amica", but in more peaceful way :-)
Then we went to Maresca, to sleep for the night. The day after we said goodbye to A&F and had a nice walk among the trees of the woods over Maresca. The sky gave us a shower but, fortunately, we just arrived to the refuge :-)... Walking through woods is a very pleasant way to relieve tension :-)
Then, to end the trip, we had a tastely pizza at Panacea, and then a well-deserved rest

Thanks my sweet for the surprise, and for the wonderful weekend :-)

Una giornata grigia, una giornata afosa, la giornata in cui siamo costretti ad accettare la realtà: Alex, non sei più tra noi, sei corso via dove solo il nostro pensiero può raggiungerti...
Tutti raccolti in attesa, nel silenzio che ottunde, un senso di vuoto che opprime...
E poi il suono di un flauto, una campanella che scandisce i battiti del dolore...
Fiori, e tra i fiori i frammenti dei ricordi della tua vita... e un applauso che spezza l'argine delle lacrime...
E, nell'avvolgere della tristezza, la vita, che tenta di risvegliarci dal torpore: i vagiti di un bimbo, un cane che beve da delle mani a coppa, immagini che strappano un sorriso... Sembra quasi di sentirti, canzonarci per la tristezza che ci attanaglia...
La musica, più reale di ciò che è tangibile, ci unisce tutti nell'ultimo saluto... Alex li senti? Sono i tuoi amici che suonano per te, cantano la gioia di averti conosciuto, cantano la tristezza nel non poter più vederti, cantano il ricordo di te che sempre li accompagnerà... I tuoi sogni, i tuoi progetti, loro li realizzaranno per te!
E sento che, dissolvendoti dal tuo corpo, tu sia comparso accanto ad ogni persona che conserva il tuo ricordo in un angolo del proprio cuore... e la tua essenza sarà sempre al nostro fianco, tra le fronde dei boschi che amavi, tra le note delle tue canzoni, nel semplice rievocare il tuo sorriso... Ogni ricordo è doloroso, perchè porta inevitabilmente al pensiero che non potrò più sentirlo, non potrò mai vederlo di persona... sono contento di averti conosciuto Dani, mi hai trasmesso un po della grande vitalità che ti animava, e il tuo ricordo mi sarà d'aiuto nei momenti difficili, grazie :-)
